Up for your consideration is an antique Lionel Ives Prewar 1933 Set. This is a transitional set and includes the 1661E Locomotive engine and tender as well as 2 -1690 Pullman cars and 1 -1691 observation carCondition:The set is being offered for restoration or display. The Pullman Cars and Observation Roll and Couple. The paint on the Pullman and Observation cars appears to be original but will need some work on the roofs more so than on the sides. The roofs have paint crackling wear and some white paint drips/splats. one of the Pullman cars is missing a brass door handle. The locomotive has a great shell with some paint wear around the bottom. The engine will need some work. The Motor brushes are missing, the drive gear has a chipped tooth causing the wheels to seize. The wheels are nice but will need some rim paint as the prior owner started to but didn't finish and could have done a better job. The motor will need some wiring and will also need the center 3rd rail pickup. The steam engine wheel railings are also missing. The tender is missing a coupler to the Pullman/observation cars and has some denting where it couples to the locomotive.Overall a great project or great for display.
