Original Early Lionel MPC 1974 # 9740 Chessie System C & O Box Car - Mint in Box. I hav e been an avid train collector for over 50 years, and am a life member of TCA, as well as a long time member in good standing of TTOS, and LCCofA. My Lionel listings are extras from my lifelong collection; I will in the near future be listing my excess Lionel train inventory on Ebay. This listing is for a Early Vintage Original Lionel MPC # 9740 C & O Box Car issued in 1974. Car is Yellow with yellow doors and blue Lettering. This item is in mint condition has been stored in its original box and has never been operated. The original box is in excellent condition with cello window fully intact, only some very minor shelf wear and proof of purchases removed for bonus car redemtion. Having original boxes for your engines, cars, and accessories greatly enhances the value and desirablilty of your Lionel collectible.
