Boxes only . Offered here are the boxes for a set of six Lionel oo cars: The 001 Locomotive, 001W Tender, 0014 Box Car, 0015 Oil Car, 0016 Coal Car and the 0017 Caboose. These boxes once held the 1938 cars, although the year is not identified. All have the original packing included. All are showing their age. The first photo shows the better end of the boxes, the second show the less than better end. The fifth shows the damage to the side of the 0015 Oil Car box and the sixth is of the tape damage on 0017. Most of the boxes have cellophane tape on the flaps; however all have at least one end flap: On 001 – both end flaps are off (but included) and all the interior flaps are missing; 001W – one end flap is missing there are no interior flaps; 0014 – one end flap is missing and the other is taped on, one inside flap is still attached; 0015 – both end flaps are still attached as are 3 of the 4 interior flaps (this box is it very good condition except for the damage shown in the photo- #5); 0016 – both end flaps are there (one attached and one taped on) one interior flap is still attached; 0017 – 3 of the interior flaps are still attached, the exterior flaps are taped in place (the photo (#6) shows how the tape tore the side of the box).
