Lionel 164 Log Loader, Original box, insert, (7) logs, and Instructions in excellent + condition that was catalogued from 1946-1950. These are the last Post War items that I have to sell from a collection of pieces that are extremely clean and pristine. Restored to its original condition by a professional Lionel train repairman/model master here in Salt Lake City; item is very clean . Motor armature and transmission gearing has all been cleaned/ lubed. No cracks, breaks in the bakelite base or roof. Comes with the original 97C/164 controller (not a retrofitted or modified) which has the markings of “On/Off and Unload” on the controller instead of many that you see with the “Uncouple and Unload” markings. Has the original knob for it also with the “L” marked on it. Wiring on the controller has been replaced with Lionel 3 conductor wire due to the brittleness of the original. All aspects of this Lionel 164 have been cleaned, lubricated, tested, and runs like the day it came from the factory. I am starting this auction off with a very low bid and no reserve.
