Lionel The Polar Express Berkshire Locomotive & Tender #6-28649 Runs Near Mint. This Polar Express Berkshire Locomotive and Tender Car has been tested and it runs great. Very heavy well made cast iron Locomotive . Wheels are 2-8-4. Both Locomotive and tender are in near mint condition.This Locomotive and Tender are from the Lionel The Polar Express Set #6-31960.Air Whistle in TenderMaintenance-Free Can Motor With FlywheelDie-Cast Metal Locomotive and TenderTraction Tires (included but not shown in the pictures).Puffing Smoke UnitThe original box has a couple of tears near the flaps but decent overall. The inside styrofoam that holds the Locomotive and Tender is in great condition and will keep them safe during shipping.Please see all pictures.The passenger and observation cars for this set are listed separately . I will also list the track and Transformer/Power Supply.Very nice Lionel The Polar Express Set.
