The Lionel #2031 Black & Red Stripe Alco Diesels were made in 1952 to 1954 and this pair just came in from the original owner. These are the higher quality Alco's that come with diecast frame, truck sides and coupler aprons. They run smoothly and the units light. There is no inside or outside battery damage, they are all original and the white bottom stripe is visible. We are grading this pair Very Good due to a nicks and rubs in the finish that allow white to show through. These can be touched up easily to enhance the appearance of the units. It has a rarity rating of 4 on a scale of 5. Look at the quality in the pictures and consider it this week. We are listing it reasonable and without a reserve.
