For sale: Lionel No.282 Gantry Crane. The mechanism and motor has been taken apart, cleaned, re oiled and greased. The wiring has been redone to the factory schematic. The three functions work well as the video displays below. The crane cab is missing the smoke stack. Reproduction smokestacks can be bought online. The plastic tower has been tampered with from the previous owner. The crane platform now screws on to four small wood blocks. These blocks are screwed from the outside of the plastic tower.(refer to pictures) The tower has some issues. One tower leg is slightly warped and there is black paint on some of the tower legs. In my personal opinion this a great accessory that runs well and will last a long time given proper care. If needed be, you can buy new tower parts and you'll a excellent accessory for both the train operator and collector. This is a used 1950's crane that has been repaired to make it an operating accessory. There is no warranty on this item.P.S I have a link to the video of the accessory running. Apparently I can't embed links into listings anymore. Please feel free to contact me and I will be more than happy to provide the link.Thank you for looking and !If you are
