Lionel Postwar #3830 Operating Submarine Car1960-1963For your consideration is this original Postwar Lionel O-Gauge Operating Submarine Car. The original box is included. This piece exhibits minimal wear, and the top of the sub has been hand painted yellow and the back fins of the sub have been colored in blue marker. The piece would benefit from a careful cleaning.The flatcar has plastic trucks. The submarine has a rubber-powered wind-up propeller which enables use in your bathtub or on your layout's own watercourse. I am by no means a Lionel expert. I have described this item to the best of my ability. Please study the photos and ask questions. This is a really nice piece.
