This auction is for early Postwar #646 4-6-4 HUDSON Heavy STEAM ENGINE...One of the more difficult to locate of the big postwar Hudsons , this is the mid postwar 1954-58 Version with the spoked sintered iron Drive wheels and Magnatraction for increased pulling power ...This one looks to be in C-7 excellent + condition...Excellent original Paint with crisp Heat stamped lettering , practically no chips or rubs and has that great Satin Black Lionel Patina ... the marker lights & Both Green Jewels on the boilerfront intact ...No dents , dings or missing Parts...This is the Laterversion that has the original composite style rear Truck...all steps intact...shows only very slight wear on the contact rollers - ...this big Locomotive has been fully tested and RUNS excellent ...Smooth and Strong , both in Fwd. & Reverse , Three position E-Unit cycles Correctly...Good Magna-Traction - Headlight works and the working Smoke unit chuffs out a great cloud.... , auction includes a nice copy of an original Lionel 4 page Instruction booklet [ not shown ]...This beauty will come to you Fully Charged with SMOKE and ready to run !.... nice vintage LIONEL Locomotive...
