This Lionel prewar "O" gauge #831 Flat Car with Load was originally produced in the late 1920's into the early 1930's. It has been lovingly restored to it's original condition using paint formulated to match the "Dark Green" that Lionel used during the era. The car has been stripped, primed, painted and kiln-dried and the brass trim has been highly polished and lacquered and the nickel couplers, axles and wheels have been polished as well. This car has brass journal boxes, nickel stakes and latch couplers. The car has been relettered on the underside with exact repro rubberstamps. The wood load is very nice repro.
