This Lionel prewar "O" gauge #831 Flat Car was originally produced in the late 1920's into the early 1930's. It has been lovingly restored to it's original condition using paint formulated to match the "Dark Green" that Lionel used during the era. The car top and sides have been stripped, primed, painted and kiln-dried and the brass trim has been polished and lacquered and the nickel couplers, axles and wheels have been polished as well. It has copper journals and latch couplers. The underside with it's original Lionel rubberstamping has been detailed only. Please e-mail with questions, and thanks for looking!
