Since I love taking old, discarded for the most part,locomotives and rebuilding them into good looking usable engines I have done so with the "AMERICA." 1.This particular 2034 type engine has new e-unit parts and wiring. 2. I've drilled the boiler to add stiff piano wire hand railings to each side. 3. They extend down and through the cowcatcher, and back along the boiler and into the cab. 4. I've removed the green jewels, drilled the running light sockets, and installed incandescent bright green lights in each one (10,000 hours). 5. This locomotive now has a puffing smoke unit which uses smoke fluid, not smoke pills. 6. It has been properly lubricated and is read to run. 7. I t runs great even at low voltage. 8. If you buy this uniquely painted 2034 AMERICA engine, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did rebuilding it and saving it from the junk heap.
