Description LIONEL TRAINS POSTWAR 3665 U.S.A.F. MINUTEMAN OPERATING BOX CAR, This cool & unique car was produced by Lionel from 1961-'64. A real life model of the "Minuteman" with Strategic Air Command markings! Roof of car opens & launching mechanism elevates to firing position---at this point missile blasts off automatically. Minuteman will "explode" Lionel Target Car on contact. Car will operate with "O27" & "O" gauge Lionel, K-Line, MTH, Williams, and others. Car shows some wear its roof has a a marred spot and a very minute chip out of roof detail as can be seen in photos. Otherwise piece worked when tested and is in very good condition.
