Used but in pretty good shape. No scratches or dents. Smokes a lot and has great sound. Does make some gear noise but you can only hear it at low speed. Missing tow window panes, but I have one you can put in. You could probably pick up more window panes at a Train Show. I sent this engine recently to Brasseur Electric Trains for a tune up which cost me $200. They did not indicate the gear noise was a problem.
