This auction is for a excellent Lionel Freight train set. it is a complete and ready to run set. Nothing else to buy. O scale. No boxes. This is a perfect steam freight train to run under the tree this year. The Lionel # 8670 2 -4 -2 steam locomotive and tender have lots of special features. It has a operating headlight, it has smoke, it has clang- clang bell sounds, steam whistle, railroad workers talking, forward, reverse, and lots of power to pull many freight cars. The locomotive is a heavy die - cast engine. There are a couple of very minor scuff marks on the boiler. It is in better than excellent condition. The tender has a metal undercarriage with a plastic body. it is in excellent condition. All 3 freight cars have all metal trucks, wheels, axles and operating knuckle couplers. 1 Lionel Atlantic States Gas Co single dome tank car #GATX 8516. It is in new condition. 1 Lionel New York Central P& LE boxcar.#20982. New condition. 1 Lionel New York Central Lighted Caboose. #18096. New condition. 1 Lionel transformer with accessories terminals.
