Vintage Lipper & Mann bisque figurine featuring a girl knitting on a stool, with an open book on her lap. Figurine measures approx. 10"H x 4-1/4" in diameter. Pretty pastel colors of pink and blue in her gown. Appears this very serene girl is knitting a mint green scarf. No nicks, chips, or breaks to the figurine. However, the knitting needles are not original to the figurine, but some type of needles were originally in her hands. I do not know what the original ones look like, but improvised with the wires. The wires could be painted gold or white, if desired. Or a toothpick broken in half also fits in the holes in her hands. Such a large, lovely figurine, and very rare! It is numbered 82/53 on the bottom. Also has a red & gold Lipper & Mann, Japan, foil label on the bottom. Winning bidder to pay for INSURED UPS GROUND S&H. I accept PayPal, money orders, and certified personal checks. Thanks for shopping and good luck!
