(see description) Framed: No ~ This piece is on Clayboard and can be propped on an easel or easily mounted in a standard frame. Th It is difficult to see digitally, but the dragon's scales are swirls of metallic gold leaf. The raised bumpy scales GLOW IN THE DARK! About This Piece: This little piece has been painted/drawn with professional Ink and Watercolor, then embellished with metallic gold, silver and copper leaf that can only be seen in the light. The scales have raised bumps that glow in the dark. Iridescent pigments were used throughout along with watercolor paints created from genuine crushed gemstones. These pigments give a painting depth as glazes are added. I used gold, silver, copper (and whatever other colors I have lying about) metallic leafing that shines at different angles when as you hold it. It has been painted on heavy Ampersand CLAYBOARD!
