Rare: 1965, Official issued Portfolio from the U.S. Naval Institute by Melbourne Smith. Six colored Lithograph Prints of Six Frigates of the American Sailing Navy, The Raleigh - The Constitution - The Essex - The Philadelphia - The President & The Brandywine. Included is a cover sheet with each one's history. There is a mat included with each print. Size of mated prints is 18" x 21.5", image size is 11" x 15 1/4". Condition: Image area of all prints is excellent, one print has foxing under the mat. All other prints and mats have very little to no foxing. A very nice history lesson of the early American Navy ready for framing and display. (See photos as part of description). (any questions, please ask) Buyer pays shipping.
