This is a collectible Little Red Riding Hood biscuit cookie jar. A whimsical item, it is marked on the bottom 967 Hull Ware Little Red Riding Hood Patent Applied For USA. The pattern she is decorated in is called 'Springtime Spray' bouquet, a very lavish colorful floral pattern as shown on her apron. This cookie jar is what is known as the open basket version with the 24kt gold decoration on the collar. I have several pieces to the set now on auction this week. ...now that is a real dandy!
