You Are Bidding on a 100+ year old single cylinder vertical steam engine made by Baker and Hamilton of San Francisco , California. It has an 6" bore with a 7" stroke. Its main shaft is 1 7/8" in diameter and 36" long. Its overall height is 55". It was used to power the machine shop at a powerhouse in Southern Oregon in the early 20th Century. It has no fly wheel. It turns over freely and is in good condition. It has one small cylinder cover in need of minor repair as show. Also needs one head bolt extracted and replaced. This engine would make a great indoor display or a good usable steam engine for powering a home or cabin with good green power. The engine weighs about #400 I live off Interstate 5, about 20 miles North of the Californian and Oregon border. I will be happy work with the buyer to fined the best shipping option.
