Nicely detailed this is an exquisitely beautiful model of the factory heartbeat and icon of the industrial revolution in the U.S. and Britain. With quality materials throughout, it has a cast iron frame and bronze connecting rods, cylinders, cylinder heads, and steam chests. The handsome coned flywheel is solid bronze with a face width of over 7/8 inch. It is ideally suited for steam with the stainless and bronze components, so one doesn’t have to worry about draining and drying the cylinder after running. The piston has precision fitted double teflon rings. Powerfull, double acting, self starting, with a 1/2" bore, a 3/4" stroke and a footprint (iron frame) of 6-1/2" x 5". This steam engine kit is made in the U.S.A. This is an unmachined engine kit can be built with hand tools, a small lathe and a drill press with an x/y table for light milling. It comes with large, full scale "D" size (22" x 34") blueprints. Flyball Governor system is fully functioning , operating a throttle for engine speed control under varying load. It comes with all components and stock required - brass balls, stainless steel spring and shaft, castings, bar stock, hardware, belt, and drawings.
