We have sadly been asked to dispose of a gentleman’s lifetime collection of models, all are as new and may have only been test run or have never been run at all. The engine may need some oil and running in due to have been stored for some time. Live steam traction engine built by D.R. Mercer of Birmingham , spirit fired, finished in maroon / black .This engine appears to be unfired since the day it was supplied by them. Length 12” Width 5” Weigh 5.7lbs. / 2.6 kg. Current new price approx.£850 Although we are unfamiliar with live steam, if you have any questions, please ask. We cannot find any operating instructions, tools or accessories, but there are videos on U-Tube and several distributors we have spoken to who are able to assist.
