Perfect Condition Lladro Figurine - "In the Gondola". The base (not the statue) has some discoloration on the velvet, but the figurine is in mint condition. All original paperwork accompanies the figurine. Shipped in original box as well. Italy was the place to go for enjoying classic art and romanticism. In ref.01001350 Lladro has depicted one of these young couples, dressed as XIX fashion enjoying the ride in a venetian gondola. Confirming the setting to be Venice, Italy, the gondoliere leads the boat, with its typical uniform of striped t-shirt and straw hat. Such a complex piece, so large, with so many characters, scene details, engravings and porcelain flowers, builds one of the best wedding gifts possible.
