Lladro "All Aboard" This beautiful Lladro figurine of a darling little boy playing with his train was made for only one year...1992..for the Lladro Collector's Society. These are special pieces to add to your collection as they are definitely limited in number. Lladro figurines are hand-made in Valencia, Spain of fine porcelain by highly skilled artisans. The sculptor on this piece is Antonio Ramos and it is a glazed piece. Each sculpture goes through a meticulous process to ensure perfection down to the smallest detail. This figurine is about 5.25" high. This piece is selling for $355.00 on other sites. Mint condition with no defects noted. (no tinkle on this one) and it will be shipped in it's original Lladro box. Gorgeous detail on this special piece...and at a fantastic price! If you hear a little tinkle inside of your Lladro figurine it is quite common with all fine porcelain. Many pieces have a "breathing hole" in the base to allow steam to escape during the firing process. The process of "punching" this hole in the base before firing displaces a tiny plug of porcelain to the inside of the hollow figurine; that tiny porcelain bit hardens with firing, causing the distinctive rattle.
