Outstanding Jack in the Pulpit glass vase made by Loetz, Bohemia (now Czech Republic) late 19th - early 20th century. 13 inches high. Elephant ear / jack in the pulpit flower with heavy blue iridescence. Round base with peacock eyes scattered all over and gentle curving snake like neck in green glass that glitters in all shades from purple to gold. The front of the vase is like molten gold, heavily streaked with blue. In most light it looks like pale blue but it ranges from deep blue to gold depending on the way the light catches it. A tremendous piece of Loetz! Polished pontil. Like most Loetz, not signed, but guarranteed. Good condition.
