The Lonesome Mouse Tom Cat, Jerry Mouse, and Housekeeper Animation Drawing (MGM, 1943). This is a great trio of 12 field animation drawings of Tom, Jerry, and the feet of their housekeeper. The unseen mother from the opening scene of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? was a homage to this supporting character. This was the 10th Tom and Jerry short and was directed by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera; it was released on 3/10/43. It was the last time the animators received no film credit (animators included Irv Spence, Pete Burness, and Ken Muse among others). This also was the first time Tom and Jerry ever spoke! Graphite and all in one common frame. Tom is 6.5" x 4", Jerry is 2", and the politically incorrect housekeeper is 7". They are matted and glass front framed together measuring 39" x 17.5". Grade: 0, Service: Uncertified, Service No.: 1397500
