Long Island Railroad RS1 #462,Original Slide 1964 dated Kodachrome by (unknown) Processed by Kodak. Rating ✬✬✬✬ ✬ ✬ Superb, single-unit portrait of early LIRR ALCO in brilliant, fresh “swirl” paint scheme. Posed at Oyster Bay, NY Trainutz and bears (unfortunately) do not appear on slide. Vintage slides show minor scuffs, spotsconsistent with age, and generally benefit from careful cleaning. We strive to make our scans as accurate as equipment allows, some deviation in color balance is to be expected.
