Here is a really beautiful, very long Baltic amber necklace. It is an older piece, and hand-made, which you can easily tell by the irregularity of the beads. The beads (not the smaller chips) range in size from a large and rare 1" (2.5 cmm) x 7/8", to the smallest at 3/8" wide. The entire necklace weighs a substantial 76.9 grams. The colors are more yellow in real life than in the photos, but after trying to take a million I am giving up on trying to get the color exactly right. The necklace has no clasp, you just put it over your head, and it measures 37", or 92.5 cm around in total. It's a stunning piece, each bead is different, some are transparent, some are the opaque egg-yolk variety. The necklace came from a wealthy estate in the Hudson Valley in New York. I'm not sure as to the age, but it is definitely a vintage natural amber piece. Posted with eBay Mobile
