Longaberger Mini Bread & Milk Basket ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This item is a Longaberger miniature bread & milk basket. It was available to Collectorâe(tm)s Club members only, and was the fifth in a series of twelve miniature baskets rendered 1/10th of the full-sized Longaberger baskets. It was manufactured in 2000 for a short time, and is now discontinued. When it was available in 2000, it retailed for $149. It is made of their traditional golden maple wood accented with two sets of rows of signature blue weaves of 1/4âe and 1/8âe widths (such narrow slats are reserved for the miniature baskets only) to contrast with the 3/8âe-wide maple slats. The basket is a petite 6 1⁄4âe long, 4 1⁄2âe tall, and 3 1⁄4âe deep, and has a stationary handle at the top. It is signed on the bottom by the artisan who hand-made this basket. It includes a stand-up fabric liner, which is made in a red, white, and blue plaid pattern with ruffles at the top. T is a brass plaque on the front rim which identifies the model of the basket. This plaque is still protected by the clear plastic sticker. This basket is in mint condition. T are no loose nails or splitting slats. The fabric liner is clean and looks like new.
