I am currently clearing the remains of anestate and I am offering the following for sale. On offer is a Longines watch movement found in a bag and includes a 'spacer ring'? winder and shaft? two watch strap pins, two tiny screws which we think holds the spacer to watch and the original watch glass/crystal. The movement measures 30mm approx and has the number 80588783 on the rear. The face has some wear probably due to being in the bag. The movement works and keeps great time as a friend showed us how to wind it in order to check all was ok. We think this was removed in order to sell the case for scrap gold. Age wise do not have a clue so if anyone can identify it would appreciate help. As far as we can tell we feel sure this is a genuine Longines and given the workings of it doubt any one would forge such a mechanism. Sold as described, I am happy to accept returns should the item not be as described but if you just change your mind then you bought it. Although working given the amount of time spent in store would recommend a service. There is no buy it now price for this item.
