Lovely souvenir fruit knife to commemorate the coronation of King George Vi on 12th May 1937. George Vi came to the throne in 1936 after the scandal and eventual abdication of his brother to marry the American divorcee Wallis Simpson. George vi was Queen Elizabeth ii 's father. This fruit knife is quite small at 12.5cm/4.5" long but it is in immaculate condition. The blade is rounded at the end and engraved 'STAINLESS Coronation Souvenir 12th May, 1937.' The handle is bone and has a blue and red inlaid stripe across with crown and GR stamped into the bone handle. There are no cracks or damage of any kind anywhere, the knife is in excellent condition. I weigh all my items so don't make on the postage. Please check out my other listings.
