This is a signed artwork by noted black artist Donovan S. McLean.(My apologies for the photos - I am not a professional photographer and could not figure out how to deal with reflective light from the glass front of the piece with my little camera.)This work is signed on the front and the back with a salutation to the former owners.It was a gift to Oakland, CA artist Kelvin Curry and wife Tina - I acquired it at an auction.The front is signed by McLean, named "LOOK TO ME' and dated '98The back salutation reads:To Kelvin and TinaThanks for the support and positive energysigned, phone number, New York addressI believe the piece is made of paper board layers with pastel accents.dark colorsFrame is dark ebony woodThe frame is approximately 13 x 11 inches, and the inner glass is 9 1/2 by 7 1/2 inches.It's really a beautiful piece that my photographs don't do justice to.Frame has a couple of tiny mark, backing paper has a torn off section - but shows well.
