PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE AUCTION!! This is a set of Lord of the Rings Horses and Riders that I had really wanted to save forever. However, they just take up space and I'm really too old to play with them. I loved the movies and when I saw the figures with horses, I just sort of had to have them. I have six different ones. They are all in this auction as one lot. They have great detail. I was pretty amazed when I saw them because I don't think they were meant as collectors items. I think they were meant as toys. I know I'd like to play with them. My very favorite is Gandalf The White on Shadowfax. It's awesome, just like in the movie. Then I have a second one, which is Pipin in Gondorian Armor with Gandalf on Shadowfax, plus, Aragorn in Gondorian Armor on horse, then, Legolas and Gimli on Horseback, next Eomer on Horseback, and last but not least, the bad guy, Ringwraith. This one is also awesome!! You can't tell by the photos through the plastic, but they are really neat! I'm going to approximate the size. I'd say Gandalf The White on Shadowfax is about 4 1/2" tall. The others are similar in size. These are called Warriors and Battle Beasts, Battle Scale Figures. They're rubber I think. I'm starting my bidding at what would have been my reserve to take advantage of the 20 cent listing day. I will be listing most of what's left of my plastics, such as Breyer horses and Peter Stone horses and some porcelains and resins this week. This is a serious house cleaning. These horses and tack aren't doing anyone any good sitting on the shelf in the basement. So please take advantage of the sales now. I'm desperately needing to make space. I'm planning on selling everything that isn't Pebbles size or smaller. And please don't hold me to that last statement. LOL!! Please ask for more photos if you need more. I collect just about everything that looks like a horse. Hence, the sale to get rid of some of them. I can no longer walk through the house. I plan to save only what I need for costume making. In the plastics anyway. PLEASE READ!!! I charge exact Priority shipping with insurance and Delivery Confirmation . If you don't want to pay for this, please don't bid. T will be a $1.00 fee for packing materials. I will add 50 cents for each additional horse . Bubble wrap, boxes, peanuts, and tape are very expensive. I can no longer sell on ebay without doing this and I do apologize. I want your items to be very well packed, and that costs, as I'm sure most of you know. I first wrap your horse in very soft toilet tissue. Then bubble wrap. Then a plastic bag. As I'm sure you all know, Ebay gives you free Priority boxes which would be wonderful if a model horse would fit in one. But they don't. So I also have to buy boxes. As Ebay fees continue to rise and then Paypal takes their share, it has become necessary to get help with the packaging in order to continue to sell. I do combine shipping if possible. People ask why I don't have the Postage calculator in my auction. The reason is that lots of people buy more than one horse. So I don't wrap them and weigh them until I know how many someone is buying. It saves me the trouble of unwrapping and rewrapping. Please do not casually write for a weight and price for shipping if you're just curious. If you've bought model horses before, you should have a pretty good idea what it's going to cost. That's allot of trouble to wrap, weigh, figure postage, then have the person not even bid. Then I have to unwrap it if someone buys more than one horse.
