I bought this cloak in 2002 from a lady in New Zealand right after LOTR The Fellowship of the ring came out . I paid a pretty penny for it and she portrayed herself as having worked on the film and being gifted this after production wrapped . I was told it was Orlando Blooms and she even went so far as to write his name on the inside . I later found out that it was a replica made by Stansborogh who made that actual cloaks and other costume items for the movie . so here 11 years later I am cleaning out my collection and selling this off as a replica made by the people who made then for the film . The construction and design of this cloak is very accurate . I am six foot tall and 180 lbs so you can have some idea of size . I believe these are pretty rare even today .
