GOOD to VERY GOOD CONDITION This sale is for a vintage FULL LEATHER hardback edition entitled “ Poems of Tennyson ,” including ‘The Princess,’ ‘In Memoriam,’ ‘Maud,’ Four ‘Idylls of the King,’ etc., with a frontispiece portrait. It was published by Henry Frowde, of London , in 1904, and is the Oxford Edition. The contents list runs to 4 pages, it includes all his major works arranged under the following headings: · Early Poems · Shorter Poems and Lyrics · English Idyls and Other Poems · The Princess: A Medley · In Memoriam A. H. H. · Maud · Idylls of The King · Miscellaneous The book measures 7.25 inches x 5 inches x 1.3 inches and has 632 pages, which have rounded corners and are gilt edged to all rims. The book is in good used condition for its age, generally neat and clean (creased top corner to 2 sheets at page 166), with minor wear to the original leather limp hardback cover (heavier/frayed to the top of the spine), with a previous owner’s signature at the front, a little light foxing near the covers, and no other ink or pencil markings in the book.
