This chunky Lorenzo Elba Prince is an old production made in Italy, unlike more recent production which is made in Albania. It is a sturdy short and robust pipe, which would last for years. I have not done anything to this pipe and it would benefit from a good polish, which will bring it back to almost new condition. It was finished in a transparent light tan staining over 360 degrees of cross grain and birds eye to the bowl and triangular shank. The triangular shaped mouthpiece bears ther L logo for Lorenzo and a couple of very shallow teeth marks, which will buff out. The crisp and well defined nomenclature on the left reads: LORENZO (underlined) on the right ir reads: ELBA. On the base of the shank it reads: 30Y8660.
