A Vintage - Modern Silver Plated Goblet with a Malachite Parrot made by Los Castillo of Taxco. Approximate dimendsions are 7" high with a top diameter of 2 15/16". Hammered silver over most probably brass, although t is absolutely no brass showing through except for the Parrot's beak. The piece is in excellent condition with no dents or scratches. The parrot is malachite and silver with glass eyes - one of which is missing. The piece is stamped Los Castillo Taxco Platerdo Hecho en Mexico. A very nice piece from Taxco.
