Beautiful and highly collectable, Silver Plate Sugar Pot and Spoon by the Famous Mexican maker, Los Castillo. Bought in Mexico in the late 70's this item consists of 3 parts. Firstly there is the plain silver sugar pot which is 24cm in diameter at its' widest point, and 7cm high. Then there is the 10 cm long sugar spoon which has an interesting twist at its' base, an inlaid malachite stem and little red stamens in the silver petal at the top of the spoon. Finally there is the top of the pot which again, is a silver leaf inlaid with malachite. The complete item measures just over 13cms. The pot is in excellent condition, almost as good as the day I bought it. The base has the following inscribed: Plateado (Silver Plate) TA-01 (Made after 1970) Los Castillo Taxco Mexico 403 (Pattern No) Any further questions please ask.
