This is a stunning and bold hand-crafted sterling silver horse head necklace from Los Castillo. Each link pivots and has a nice heavy solid construction. Hand wrought in Taxco , Mexico , circa late 1940âe(tm)s to early 1950âe(tm)s. This necklace is masterfully crafted and consists of eighteen very dimensional horse head links. The recesses of the design are oxidized which gives depth and dimension to the piece. The links pivot on a post one after another. The clasp is a simple hook and eye type closure. It is in very good condition and is a very early piece numbered #239, and is extremely well crafted and is highly collectible. LOS CASTILLO jewelry is sought after and prized by serious collectors worldwide. This piece has a museum, heirloom & collector quality to it. This necklace will draw attention from many admirers.
