Lot 11 Military PHOTOS Army Air Force USAF Vintage CONDITION OF THIS PARTICULAR ITEM: From the estate of accomplished race car driver and aerial photographer Ralph Foster. Please be sure to see my other auctions over the next few weeks for some very interesting items and some great surprises. Mr. Foster's estate is very vast and consists of many unusual items. Items from the Foster estate come right from his working shop, photo studio and his home... and most show the normal signs of storage or use that you should expect from vintage estate items. I'll point out any areas that are of special concern. This lot contains one 8"x10" photo, seven photos that measure about 4"x3", and three filmstrip type photo series measuring about 6" in length.The largest photo shows what appears to be soldiers lining up to retrieve mail under a sign that reads "Going to school under the GI Bill of Rights". There is light creasing to the corners, but overall the photo is in pretty good condition. All of the other photos feature soldiers in the field, with sweethearts, and one climbing up a tree! Minor wear here and there, as shown in the above photos. The watermarks are used to keep others from copying the image and do not show up on the actual photograph.
