Title: Lot of 13 Old Antique 1920s Child Life Childrens Magazines Description: Presented for your consideration is this lot of 13 old Child Life magazines published by Rand McNally & Company in the 1920s. They are all paperback and have a tight binding. Each has advertisements for various companies such as Bradley Knitwear, Morton's Iodized Salt, Shredded Wheat, Colgate, Lifebuoy, Tinker Toys, Keds and hundreds more. Some of the articles included in the magazines are Paper Dolls, The Boys Festival in Japan, Plays and Pageants, Who's Who in the Zoo, Puzzles, Adventure Stories, The Music of Chopstick Land and hundreds of other interesting articles. All covers are by Hanzel Frazee. Issues included in the lot are: ~January 1927. Front cover has a picture of a child in a sleigh. ~May 1927. Front cover has a picture of a boy watering flowers. ~April 1927. Front cover has a picture of a girl with the Easter bunny. ~May 1926. Front cover has a picture of a girl holding a garland of flowers. ~June 1926. Front cover shows a boy dressed up as a clown. ~September 1926. Front cover shows a girl standing in front of a wheel that reads "School Time!" ~August 1926. Front cover shows a boy standing on a rock in the ocean. ~March 1927. Front cover shows a boy catching fireflies. ~February 1927. Front cover shows a boy holding two cakes. ~October 1926. Front cover shows a boy standing behind a scarecrow. ~July 1926. Front cover shows a boy riding a stick horse. ~December 1926. Front cover shows Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus singing in front of the tree. ~November 1926. The cover is missing from this issue and the back page is torn. There is some minor wear from use, especially around the edges. A few of the covers have creases.
