Schleich is a German toy manufacturer who has long produced figurines out of resin, handpainted to reflect the coloring, fur, skin, and personality of the animal being depicted. Safari is a French toy manufacturer, who has expanded the type of animals being produced, often from rubber or plasticene, handpainted in colors to reflect the animal's unique nature.
