Lot (5) Antique vintage rare Czech striped bicolor Art glass bangles hoops Description (5) Vintage Czech Bohemian rare art glass bangles hoops. These are particularly special. One is made from a crystal and red glass tube, sliced and hand finished. One is simple crystal. The last 3 are wonderful examples of glass hoop making with a thin strip of striped glass within the crystal glass. Extremely rare example that can only be found in the glass museums. Primarily these pieces were made for export to India as ritual items and ornaments. Sybille Jargstorf describes these bangles in the book - Heritage of Bohemia on page 126. Great for any jewelry project, ribbon decoration, chain connectors, christmas ornaments, home decor or napkin rings. Please make sure with measurement if these pieces are good for your project or object. Northern Bohemia circa 1900-20�s Size: 38 -51 mm 1.5-2 inches approx internal diameter Material: Glass Condition: authentic vintage condition, never used these were found originally packed, marked Bernstein. These do have little edge nicks but this is from the cutting process, not modern damage, The red hoop does have a larger chip.
