You are bidding on a Lot of 6 Lafayette Legacy Collection Limoges Plates. I purchased the plates along with several others from an estate auction. Each plate is in mint condition, no chips, cracks, or crazing. Five of the six plates are outfitted for hanging, and they come with the certificate, paper sleeve, and original Styrofoam box. The plate measures approximately 8 ½” in diameter. The set came from a well-maintained home, and a serious collector. Set includes: The 11 th of September 1777, During the Battle of Brandywine; Lafayette Remits Messages from Congress to Benjamin Franklin; Lafayette with Washington & Rochambeau at the Seize of Yorktown; The Marquis De Lafayette in December 1776 signs secretly his enlistment in the Army of the Insurgents; The Marquis De Lafayette Accompanied by the Baron De Kalb Disembarks From His Ship “Victoire”; and the After a Dinner at the City Tavern of Philadelphia the 13 th of July 1777. ******************************************* I try my very best to offer quality pictures, accurate descriptions, and describe any flaws.
