To me this is the most overrated rating and should be a near perfect copy and most of the ones I have seen, are not. RECORD GRADING : My records are visually graded only unless I state otherwise. Labels such as RCA, Capitol, Colpix , Atlantic , and MGM were pressed on better quality vinyl and will sound better than a record which visually appears the same on labels such as Crown, Score, Diplomat, or Design. There may also be defects in the pressing which are invisible. An album on RCA graded Very Good plus (VG+) may sound far better than an album on Crown graded Near Mint (NM).
