Vintage BRIDE & GROOM Monchhichi Dolls This Auction is for both of these BRIDE & GROOM Monchhichi Dolls. GOOD Condition! They are both approximately 8" tall and dressed in wedding attire with shoes too. Their hands are made in a way that allows them to hold hands or put their thumb in their mouth. The bride is also able to hold either hand up to her face as well if you place her thumb in her ear... (ha ha that sounds pretty funny!) Both dolls have eyes that appear opening/closing (like blinking or winking) - the eyes move. Both dolls are in played with condition. The groom has no tags. The bride has a tag that on one side I'm not sure what it read but is cursive written in ink. Could be a signature or a number or something. It looks like it possibly says "Ly" or "24" or "29" and the other side of tag reads: MA LIC.431 OH LIC. 23771 ME LIC. 596 PA LIC. PA670 ALL NEW MATERIAL FOAM TOTSY MFG. CO. INC. HOLYOKE. MA 01041 I did take a picture of both sides of this tag (see below). Maybe it means something and maybe it doesn't but I wasn't sure. You will receive the exact dolls you see pictured below. The dolls don't actually say "monchhichi" on them but that is what I think of these types of dolls to be. T is NO RESERVE. Sold as is and no returns. Please feel free to ask any questions.
