Cleaning out our attic and found 2 large boxes of 50's Comic books. I am not a Professional Grader, but I do know that these are NOT in mint condition. Most have wear on the covers but t are some in in protective plastic wrap. What I can tell you is this is a very nice mix of two hundred and fourty four comic books by DELL, HANNA BARBERA, GOLD KEY, DC etc. Great for the nostalgic! This has no reserve price on it. This item is being relisted due to a miscount on my part-This lot includes a bunch of old Supermans ( Lois Lane, Merman, Mix or match storybook included), Batmans, Wonder Woman, Disney, Archie, Dennis the Menace, Illustrated Classics, Our Army at War, Loony Toons, and many many many more.Please do not hesitate with any questions, and what I do not know I will try to find out for you. If you have a specific comic you are looking for ask and I will double check for you.Thanks so much!! This is what I have found in my own research. All of the comics fall under these three categories. Most of them are in the first two categories with about 2 dozen in the last. Please let me know if any of you have any further questions! GD+/VG- 3.0, GD+ 2.5, GD 2.0, GD- 1.8. Used copy with substantial wear. Overall look is as if read many times, but is still complete. Corners may have rounding, cover may have low or no reflectivity, spine may have a roll or up to a 2" split, staples may have discoloration or rust, and pages are tan or brown but not brittle. Moderate cover soiling and moderate staple tears allowed. Up to 1/2" triangle may be missing on corner or edge. Cover may have significant surface wear with book-length cover creases. Cover and centerfold may be loose or detached. GD 2.0 Example FR+/GD- 1.5, FR 1.0. Used copy with heavy wear. Overall look is as if read many times with little care, but is still complete. Corners likely rounded, cover may have no reflectivity, spine may have a roll or up to 2/3rds split, staples may have discoloration or rust, pages are tan or brown, and edges may show brittleness. Cover soiling and staple tears are common. Pieces of front (not allowed in FR+/GD-) or back cover may be missing. Cover may have considerable surface wear with book-length cover creases, significant tears and folds. Cover and centerfold may be loose or detached. FR 1.0 Example PR 0.5. Heavily used copy, may be incomplete. Overall look is not good, but hey, at least the thing's still around.
