I have spent the last 30 years collecting old and wonderful jewelry. When I was working, I used to wear them but now, as a retired person, I am forced to downsize. Consequently, I am selling off my wonderful collection of Bakelite jewelry as I no longer wear them and it is foolish to keep them hidden away. I am grouping them according to color so look for my other great pieces up for sale. This lot is my Green Collection. T are 7, ranging from forest green to olive green. One is a great combination of green and brown with rhinestone decorations. One is carved on the sides, and one is carved all over. One bracelet is flat and the rest are rounded and others flat. Some have the wonderful Bakelite swirl that makes them so unique. Also, included are two pair of clip earrings. One is a French knot that I believe is celluloid, not Bakelite. It is I inch and screw back closing. One is Bakelite and silver, 1 ¼ inch round. The word bergere is on the back. One pair are in fact dress clips, carved and 1 ½ inch long. I used to wear them as earrings. Also included is a green and silver dress clip and buckle. They come from a smoke and pet free zone. . I purchased them from dealers who claimed they were Bakelite and I tried the rubbing test. I believe they are indeed Bakelite, but one can never really tell. They are vintage pieces, but I believe
