This auction is for approx. (counted once) 275 color slides from 1944-1960. They are mostly scenic & include slides of St. Croix, Guanica Lagoon, Lake Guayabal, Altona Lagoon, Puerto Rico, some of airplanes in the air & on the ground, military, Mexico, artwork, Euphorbia hummingbirds, & ships. T is one of Ross Leffler & his secretary. I'm not sure, but I believe he started the The Ross Leffler School of Conservation in July 1932, near Brockway, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. It is the first school, ever, devoted entirely to training conservation officers, and helped establish the agency's lead role in wildlife conservation throughout the world. This may explain the picture of dead hanging deer with a tank off to the side & military looking guys holding a bunch of dead ducks. Although the slides look foreign (maybe Mexican) to me - not sure. Anyway, t are also slides of fish, Cartagena Lagoon, Kumming China, Liuchow, Shanghai, Peking, buildings, rickshaws, a building with a Chinese leader's banner on the side of it, several of a bullfight, matadors, Krause Lagoon, boats, Congo Key natives smoking long pipes, Tortuguero Lagoon, Sugar Bay, Christiansed, Frederiksted, Croton, & Anolis. Very interesting lot! This seller prefers PayPal (but will accept personal check, money order, or cashiers check) and uses USPS priority mail, 1st Class, read more
