Three Hummel Plates This is a lot of three Hummel Collector plates in their original boxes. These plates were manufactured by Schmid. They are among the earliest plates from this series, and are from the 1970s. are the details: 1972 Hummel Plate - This plate is second in a series of Christmas plates showing authentic works by Sr. Berta Hummel. This lovely design is titled "Engel mit Flote". The original painting was given by Berta Hummel to her sister as a Christmas gift before entering the convent. This plate is in its original box. The box and plate are both in excellent condition. 1973 Hummel Plate - This plate is third in a series of Christmas plates showing authentic works by Sr. Berta Hummel. This lovely design is titled "The Nativity". The original painting was given by Berta Hummel to her family as a Christmas gift before entering the convent. This plate is in its original box. The plate is in excellent condition. The box is missing some paper w the price tag was removed, and has a tear on one side. 1974 Hummel Plate - This plate is fourth in a series of Christmas plates showing authentic works by Sr. Berta Hummel. This lovely design is titled "The Guardian Angel". The original painting is in the posession of the Hummel family and is reproduced with the permission of the artist's mother. This plate is in its original box.
